Often mistaken for an owl, because of their nocturnal habits, the Tawny Frogmouth is in fact a big-headed bird with rounded wings and short legs.
They disguise themselves ever so well in the fork of trees making them tricky to spot.
A group of them can be seen on the shores of Herdsman Lake in WA, if you have your eyes peeled!
